Dr. Doureige Jurdi is a Lecturer in Finance at La Trobe University's La Trobe Business School, specializing in risk management, financial econometrics, and sustainable finance. He coordinates the Master of Financial Analysis program's Financial Risk Management specialization and advises finance degrees. He holds a PhD in Finance from Queensland University of Technology, alongside certifications in ESG analysis and FinTech innovation.
His research focuses on empirical finance, market microstructure, and ESG integration in financial systems. He currently serves as Guest Co-Editor for Mathematics and Journal of Risk and Financial Management. Dr. Jurdi has successfully supervised multiple PhD students, including topics in ethical finance and ASEAN stock markets.
