Dr. Douglas C. Woodhams is an Assistant Professor at UMass Boston's Department of Biology, specializing in disease ecology, immunological ecology, and conservation medicine. His research focuses on microbial contribution to immunity, microbiome manipulation for biotherapies, and symbiotic microbiota function in amphibian and mosquito systems.
