Douglas Tudhope

Douglas Tudhope is a Professor at the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science, University of South Wales, a position he has held since 2007. He previously served as a Senior Lecturer (1989–2000) and Reader (2001–2007) at the University of Glamorgan's School of Computing. Tudhope holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Edinburgh University (1976) and a PhD in Knowledge-Based Recognition from the University of Wales (1981).

• Research Expertise: Focuses on Knowledge Organization Systems (KOS), semantic technologies, and linked data. Current projects involve NLP-driven indexing in archaeology and digital heritage.
