Professor Robinson's research explores how ecological and social environments shape animal behavior, with a focus on avian species. His recent work on antibiotic-resistant bacteria in American Crows examines environmental impacts on wildlife survival. He actively involves students and citizen scientists in field research to expand ecological understanding.
His publications in Poughkeepsie Journal highlight local bird behaviors, including woodpecker drumming patterns, sparrow migration dynamics, and wren vocalizations. These works demonstrate his commitment to public science communication and ornithological observation.
As Study Abroad Coordinator, he organizes international field experiences like the New Zealand trip and plans similar expeditions for Mount Saint Mary College students to bridge classroom learning with real-world ecological systems.
