Douglas Magnuson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Leisure, Youth, and Human Services at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). He has been affiliated with the institution since at least the 1999-2000 academic year, initially serving as an Instructor before being promoted to Assistant Professor. From 2003-2004 to 2006-2007, he held a dual role as Director of the Institute for Youth Leadership.
- Research Focus: Leisure studies, youth development, community leadership, and human services.
