Christopher L. Kowalski, EdD, is a Professor in the Department of Recreation, Tourism and Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), where he has worked since 2000. His research focuses on youth work and leadership, coaching, and self-efficacy in recreation. He co-authored eight books on youth development and delivered over 50 presentations on related topics.

Dr. Kowalski teaches courses such as Foundations of Youth Work, Marketing in RTNL, and Coaching Theory & Skill Technique for Soccer. He also serves as Assistant Coach for UNI Women's Soccer since 2017.
