Professor Douglas Kysar is the Joseph M. Field ’55 Professor of Law at Yale Law School and faculty director of the Law, Environment and Animals Program (LEAP). He previously served on the faculty at Cornell Law School. His academic roles include teaching courses such as Climate Change and Animals, Animal Law, Environmental Law, and Torts. Currently on leave for spring 2026, he remains active in research and advocacy.
