Douglas J. Turner

Douglas J. Turner is a tenured Professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Chief of Surgery at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System. He practices Endocrine Surgery and has authored 14 chapters in major surgical textbooks, alongside 68 peer-reviewed publications on sphingolipid regulation of intestinal barrier permeability.
