Douglas J. Bujakowski

Dr. Douglas J. Bujakowski is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), holding the Dr. Thomas V. O'Brien Distinguished Professorship in Actuarial Mathematics and serving as a Fellow in the Insurance and Risk Management Institute. He previously served as the Sammons Professor and Chair of Actuarial Science and Risk Management at Drake University.

Education:

Research Interests: Focuses on insurance market development, law and economics, and applications of longitudinal and spatial modeling techniques. His work bridges quantitative actuarial methods with legal and regulatory frameworks, emphasizing practical solutions for risk management challenges.
