Douglas Harley

Douglas Harley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He also serves as Program Director for the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Center for Family Medicine residency program.

Dr. Harley's professional focus centers on Family Medicine, Primary Care, Osteopathic Medicine, and Medical Education. His work emphasizes community health integration, osteopathic principles in clinical practice, and advancing family medicine training standards through residency program leadership.

His scientific recognition includes:

• Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (FACOFP)
• Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP)

Dr. Harley holds significant leadership roles as President-elect of the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians and Vice President of the Ohio Osteopathic Association.
