Doug J. Galen is a Lecturer in Management at Stanford Graduate School of Business and CEO/co-founder of RippleWorks Foundation, which supports ventures improving lives in developing regions through expert mentorship.
Education:
- MBA from University of California, Berkeley
- BS from University of California, Berkeley
His work focuses on scaling social impact ventures across East Africa, India, Southeast Asia, Latin America and the US. Galen serves on boards of Heifer International, Positive Coaching Alliance, and Ripple Labs, bringing practical entrepreneurial experience to his teaching.
At Stanford, he co-teaches Startup Garage courses covering design, testing and launch phases of venture development.
