Professor Doug Elliott is Adjunct Professor in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at University of Technology Sydney, with clinical expertise in critical care nursing.
His research examines health-related quality of life in acute illnesses and utilizes information technologies to improve patient outcomes. Current projects include human-centered teamwork analytics in healthcare simulation.
Recent publications address emergency pain management and maternal mental health screening. He co-leads the ARC-funded Human-Centred Teamwork Analytics project (2021-2024) developing simulation technologies.
He previously directed the Office of Biomedical Graduate Diversity at Duke University and contributes to global nursing education initiatives.
