Doudou Zhang

Dr. Doudou Zhang is a Research Fellow at the Australian National University's College of Engineering, specializing in solar-driven electrochemical energy conversion. She obtained her PhD from Shaanxi Normal University in 2018 with joint supervision at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, including an exchange at University of New South Wales. Her research focuses on developing earth-abundant transition-metal catalysts and nanostructured thin films for solar hydrogen production and electrocatalysis applications.

Her work in solar fuels involves designing high-activity, cost-effective catalysts for water splitting. She actively reviews for high-impact journals including ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces and Nanoscale Advances.

Dr. Zhang has been recognized as keynote speaker at multiple international conferences including the 2019 Asia Pacific Solar Research Conference and 2021 Materials Research Society conference.
