Professor Dotun Adebanjo is a Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Greenwich, affiliated with the Executive Business Centre within the Faculty of Business. He holds a visiting position as Bualuang ASEAN Chair Professor at Thammasat University (2019–2021) and has been an associate researcher at Massey University's Centre for Organisational Excellence Research for over a decade. His academic journey includes roles as Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the University of Liverpool Management School, and earlier as a Senior Researcher and Consultant at Leatherhead Food Research Association.
His research focuses on Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Technology Management, and Total Quality Management, with significant emphasis on emerging economies like those in Asia. Key projects include contributions to the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP), the 'Dubai We Learn' benchmarking initiative (2016–2019), and collaboration with the Asian Productivity Organisation (APO). His work is funded by entities such as the UK Government, European Union, and Bangkok Bank.
Professor Adebanjo’s research bridges academia and industry, addressing global challenges in sustainability, digital transformation, and organizational effectiveness. Recent work explores Industry 4.0 adoption in emerging markets, supply chain resilience, and IoT-driven logistics innovations. He has authored over 100 publications, with notable contributions to benchmarking methodologies, renewable energy integration, and crisis management strategies during the pandemic.
