Dorothea Kübler

Dorothea Kübler is a Professor of Economics at Technische Universität Berlin and Director of the Research Unit 'Market Behavior' at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. She has held visiting positions at institutions including New York University, Stanford University, and Harvard University.

• Education: Habilitation (2003) and Dr.rer.pol. (1997) from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Diplom (1992) from Freie Universität Berlin, and studies at University of Pennsylvania (1985-1986).

Her research focuses on behavioral and experimental economics, game theory, market design, and education economics. Recent work analyzes hiring algorithms, school/college admissions, and appointment systems, with implications for equity and efficiency.
