معرفی
Dorothea Hinsen is a doctoral student and research assistant at the Numerical Mathematics Department, Institute of Mathematics, Technische Universität Berlin (Faculty II - Mathematics and Natural Sciences). Her work focuses on port-Hamiltonian systems, differential-algebraic equations, and time-delay modeling. She contributes to energy-efficient rail traffic control via port-Hamiltonian formulations and participates in international workshops/conferences.
- Education: Master of Science in Mathematics (2020), TU Berlin; Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (2016), TU Berlin
Research Interests: She investigates port-Hamiltonian systems with time-delays, stability analysis, passivity, and their applications in energy networks and power systems. Her work bridges mathematical theory with real-world control problems in hybrid energy systems.
Grant Involvement:
- EKSSE (BMBF): Energy-Efficient Rail Traffic Coordination (2023–present)
- SFB910: Stability Exponents for Port-Hamiltonian Delay Systems (2021–2022)
- DFG SPP 1984: Hybrid Energy Systems (2018–2020)
Key Collaborations: Active in GAMM Junior, SIAM/GAMM Student Chapter, and German-Dutch-French Doctoral Program on port-Hamiltonian systems.
