Dorota Piontek

Dorota Piontek serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Social Communication at Adam Mickiewicz University's Faculty of Political Science and Journalism in Poznań. She is an active member of the Polish Political Science Society and the Polish Society for Social Communication, where she has chaired the political communication section since 2013 and served on the Board. Her institutional role includes participation in the News Literacy program and leadership of academic initiatives within her department.

She mentors graduate students through specialized seminars while teaching core curriculum courses across communication theory and political practice domains.
