Univ. Prof. Dorit Geva is a leading scholar in Political Sociology and Gender Studies at the University of Vienna's Department of Political Science (Faculty of Social Sciences). Her work focuses on far-right politics, neoliberal authoritarianism, and gender dynamics within conservative movements. She holds a PhD from NYU and has held academic roles at the European University Institute, University of Chicago, and Central European University (CEU), where she was Founding Dean of Undergraduate Studies (2019–2022).

Key publications appear in American Journal of Sociology, European Journal of Cultural and Political Sociology, and Social Politics.
Awards include the European Sociological Association's Honourable Mention (2020) and Marie Curie Fellowship. Her recent work explores post-neoliberal state transformations and right-wing educational projects.
