Doris Hall-Gulati is a part-time faculty member and Director of Instrumental Studies at Lancaster Bible College. She also serves as Principal Clarinetist in The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Ocean City NJ Pops Orchestra, and PA Philharmonic Orchestra, while holding roles in Opera Philadelphia and Lancaster Symphony Orchestra. She leads the LBC Orchestra and is a Grammy-winning clarinetist, recognized in 2018 with 'The Crossing' for Lansing McLoskey's 'Zealot Canticles.'
Education: MMus in Performance from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; BMus in Performance from Peabody Conservatory (Johns Hopkins University).
Her performances span global festivals and series, including with Trio Clavino (Fulbright-Heys awardees) and Beyond Ourselves, a group supporting MCC’s peace efforts. She volunteers in music education initiatives in Cuba and Bermuda.
Awards include the Grammy and Fulbright-Heys recognition. She also contributes to the Catastrophic Relief Alliance, a nonprofit aiding disaster-affected communities.
Prior roles include Artist-in-Residence at Franklin & Marshall College (2011) and leadership in St. James Episcopal Church.
