Dorian Winter

Prof. Dr. Dorian Winter is a Professor of Systematic Theology at the Catholic University of Freiburg since April 2025. He is based in Room 3105 and can be contacted via dorian.winter@kh-freiburg.de. His career spans academic theology, clinical pastoral work, and interreligious practice.

• Education: Studied Catholic Theology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the Catholic University of Leuven (2010–2015), earning a Diploma in Theology, and Canon Law at the Catholic University of Leuven (2014–2016).

• Political Ethics and Philosophy
• Theology in Late Modern Culture
• Interreligious Fields of Practice
• Phenomenology and Philosophy of Alterity
• Theology of Spirituality and Logotherapy

Career Highlights: Chaplain at federal asylum centers in Zurich and Embrach (2021–2025); clinical pastoral training and grief counseling qualification at the KSA Institute in Heidelberg (2023–2024); ongoing training in Logotherapy since 2024.
