Doreen Malcolm is a Senior Lecturer in Early Years and Inclusive Education at the Department of Education, School of Business, Education and Law, University of Huddersfield. With over 19 years of industrial experience in Early Years practice, she focuses on supporting children aged birth to 5 years and improving childcare environments through tools like ITERS and ECERS. Her current research explores adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma-informed practices in early education.
