Doohee Lee is a Professor and the Associate Dean for Academic Programs at Marshall University’s Brad D. Smith Schools of Business. He previously served as the founding director of the DBA program in the Lewis College of Business and held leadership roles as department chair of Management and a faculty senate executive member.
His research spans healthcare administration, health economics, quality of care, cost containment, and health equity within value-based healthcare systems. Dr. Lee has authored over 3 dozen peer-reviewed articles.
His publications reveal expertise in health information technology, physician-industry relations, healthcare workforce dynamics, and policy implications. Key subfields include telehealth adoption, prescription practices, market competition in healthcare, and racial disparities in health services.
Previously, Dr. Lee taught at Columbus State University and Cleveland State University, focusing on courses related to the American healthcare system, health care law, health economics, and healthcare professionals.
