Donovan L Evans serves as a Courtesy Affiliate in the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy at Arizona State University. His academic career has focused extensively on engineering education research and reform initiatives.
Dr. Evans' research interests span Engineering Education, STEM Education, Educational Assessment, Curriculum Development, and K-12 Teacher Training. His work emphasizes systemic approaches to improving engineering education through collaborative initiatives and evidence-based teaching practices.
Throughout his career, Dr. Evans has been actively involved in major educational initiatives, most notably serving as Principal Investigator on multiple cycles of the Foundation Coalition grants from 1993-2004. He has also contributed to NSF-funded projects including WISE INVESTMENTS for women in STEM and K-12 teacher development programs.
