Donna Schatz serves as a Contract Lecturer in the Department of Politics & Public Administration at Toronto Metropolitan University, teaching courses including C POG 100: People, Power, and Politics; C POG 315: Equity and Human Rights; and C POL 501: Women, Power and Politics. She additionally holds part-time instructional roles in Political Science and Geography at York University and Political Science at the University of Toronto Mississauga.

- Bachelor of Arts Double Honours in Political Studies & English from the University of Saskatchewan
Schatz specializes in intersectional analyses of power structures through critical race, postcolonial, and political economy frameworks. Her research examines urban marginalization, community activism, and policy responses with emphases on Indigenous urban politics, gender-race-multiculturalism dynamics in Canada, and human rights dimensions of sex work. This work manifests in conference presentations and publications exploring systemic inequities and grassroots resistance strategies.
