Donna Hensley

Donna Hensley is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Education, affiliated with the College of Human and Social Futures at the University of Newcastle. She has extensive experience in Australian Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), having served as a senior manager and policy advisor across regional, state, national, and international TVET systems.

Her expertise lies in TVET stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and innovation in industry. She has led cross-government projects in Papua New Guinea, Fiji, South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, and Vietnam. Her research focuses on TVET Pedagogy, Workplace Learning, Flexible Learning in Industry, and Access and Equity in Education.
