Dr Luan Nguyen is a researcher at the School of Education, University of New South Wales. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from The University of Newcastle and a Graduate Certificate in Education (Innovative Learning Design) from Queensland University of Technology.
His research focuses on Instructional Design, Teacher Education and Development, and Educational Technology. His publications include peer-reviewed journal articles and handbook/edited book chapters. Recent projects include Teacher Leadership for Transformative School Improvement in Vietnam and Students’ Continuance Intention Towards Online Education Programs.
Scientific awards and recognitions include:
- 2023 U.S. Embassy RELO Vietnam grant for attending TESOL Convention 2023
- 2018 TESOL International Association Award for International Participation
- 2018-2017 HDR success award from EDResearch, School of Education, The University of Newcastle
- 2017 Honorable Mention from TIRF Doctoral Dissertation Grant
