Donna Harris is an Instructor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Foundations at Western Carolina University. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Winthrop University (2003) and a Master's in Birth-Kindergarten Education from Western Carolina University. Her teaching focuses on supporting children's language development and integrating augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices into classroom practices.

Her research interests emphasize creating inclusive learning environments through evidence-based strategies for language acquisition and adaptive technology integration. She is a National Board Certified Teacher.
