Donna Evon

Dr. Donna Evon is a Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Medicine and the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. She is a clinical health psychologist and behavioral researcher specializing in chronic liver disease for 18 years, with expertise in patient-centered outcomes research.

• Research Focus: Evaluation of bio-psycho-social factors in liver disease, patient-reported outcome (PRO) measures, qualitative methods, and psychosocial/behavioral interventions
• Key Contributions: Collaborated with patients as research consultants since 2013, formed UNC HCV Patient Engagement Group (HCV-PEG) for PROP UP and PRIORITIZE studies, mentored junior faculty in patient engagement
