Donghai Wang is a Professor in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at Kansas State University. His research focuses on bioconversion of renewable materials into biofuels, chemicals, and biomaterials, including protein adhesives and biodegradable composites, alongside near-infrared technology for biomaterial analysis. He has secured $6 million as principal investigator and $22 million as co-principal investigator from agencies like USDA, DOT, NSF, and DOE. Wang co-directs the Bio Material and Technology Laboratory and collaborates nationally and internationally on large-scale research projects.
