Dong-Yang WANG

Dr. Dong-Yang WANG is a Research Fellow (Anniversary Fellow) at the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) at the University of Southampton. He is a member of the Nanophotonics & Metamaterials group, with research focused on topological photonics, metamaterials, and terahertz science. His expertise spans semiconductor physics, optical chaos, and photonic crystal technologies.

Teaching: He contributes to the following courses:

• Quantum Optics (PHYS6073)
• Physics Skills 2 (PHYS1019)

Supervision: Currently supervising two PhD students: Ding Li (Physics) and Steffen Seligmann (ORC).

Research Groups: Active member of the Nanophotonics Group within the ORC, contributing to interdisciplinary projects in topological physics and advanced photonics.
