Donald Vincent

Donald Vincent serves as Associate Professor and Assistant Chair in the Department of Digital Media & Communications within Hilbert College's Division of Arts and Letters, where he actively teaches and shapes academic programs.

His academic credentials include a BA in Communication from SUNY at Geneseo, followed by MA and PhD degrees in Communication from SUNY at Buffalo, establishing his foundation in behavioral sciences and media studies.

Dr. Vincent's research centers on Integrated Marketing Communication, Communication Theory, and Rhetoric, with significant contributions to Media Analysis, Organizational Communication, and Gender Studies. His unique perspective bridges commercial radio experience with scholarly rigor, emphasizing critical analysis of communication messages in contemporary society through courses spanning public speaking, PR writing, and persuasive campaigns.

Analysis of his 2006-2010 publications reveals a concentrated focus on organ donation communication across multiple contexts: media representations, family discussions among college students, medical student education, and campus awareness campaigns.
