Dr. Donald Harvey is a Professor in Graduate Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University, where he founded the Marriage and Family Therapy program. He holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech and is an AAMFT Clinical Fellow.
His clinical and academic work focuses on:
- Couples therapy methodologies
- Supervision models for developing therapists
- Self-care practices for mental health professionals
- Crisis intervention for clergy families
He maintains clinical practice alongside teaching and has authored 10 books on counseling topics.
