Donald Harn is a Professor and Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. He holds the GRA Distinguished Investigator title. His research focuses on immunological pathways induced by human milk components (e.g., LNFPIII), mechanisms of HIV inhibition in macrophages, and vaccine development using VacSIM® delivery systems. His work spans immunology, parasitology, and infectious disease modeling.
He has authored over 140 publications, including key studies on schistosomiasis control strategies and Gulf War Illness treatments. His service affiliations include the Center for Vaccines and Immunology.
