Donald Currie

Dr. Donald Currie is a Professor in the Developing Osteopathic Clinical Skills Division at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. He specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with particular expertise in caring for severely disabled children and utilizing technology to improve outcomes. Board certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, he received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed residencies at Baylor University Medical Center and University of Washington.

His research focuses on pediatric rehabilitation technologies and disability management. Dr. Currie has been recognized as one of San Antonio's Best Doctors multiple times and is the only physician to receive both Presidential Awards for Teaching and Clinical Excellence at UT Health Science Center San Antonio.
