Earlanda L. Williams

Earlanda L. Williams, PhD is a Professor of Anatomy and Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM). She has been a faculty member since 2016, focusing on innovative anatomy education methods and curriculum development for diverse health professions programs.

Her research centers on anatomy education, including 3D-printed anatomical models and interactive teaching tools. She contributes to national academic organizations like the American Association for Anatomy and serves as an exam item writer for the National Board of Dental Examiners and National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners.

Dr. Williams has extensive experience in health professions education, having designed anatomy curricula for dentistry, occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, biomedical engineering, and master's-level anatomy programs. In 2024, she completed the Senior Leadership Development Program through the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine.
