Donald B. Katz is a Professor of Psychology at Brandeis University, affiliated with the Department of Psychology, the Benjamin and Mae Volen National Center for Complex Systems, and the Interdepartmental Program in Neuroscience. His research focuses on neural dynamics underlying taste perception and food valuation, examining how the brain determines whether foods taste good or bad.
Education: Ph.D. from Indiana University-Bloomington and B.A. from Brown University. He is an award-winning educator, having received the Michael L.
