Donald Alcendor is an Associate Professor at Meharry Medical College's School of Medicine, with appointments in the Departments of Microbiology, Immunology, and Physiology, as well as Obstetrics & Gynecology. His research spans Cancer Biology, Infectious Diseases, Neurodegenerative Diseases, and Precision Medicine, focusing on antiviral development, human cytomegalovirus, cerebrovascular disease, and disparities in Alzheimer's disease.
