Dominique Zephyr is a Researcher and Statistician affiliated with the Children's Environmental Health Initiative (CEHI) at the University of Notre Dame. His work focuses on applying statistical methods to study environmental and social exposures' impacts on health and developmental outcomes. He has held senior analytical roles at the University of Kentucky's Applied Statistics Lab and Vanderbilt University's Latin American Public Opinion Project (LAPOP).
Education: Two Master’s degrees from Vanderbilt University (Economics and Latin American Studies). Specialized training in advanced statistical techniques at the University of Michigan.
Research interests include complex survey analysis, multi-level modeling, structural equation modeling, and experimental/non-experimental data analysis. Core projects include contributions to the National Longitudinal Survey of Public Health Systems (NALSYS) and National Health Security Preparedness Index funded by RWJF.
Professional experience spans 16+ years in data analysis, research coordination, and statistical support across academic and public health sectors. Current role emphasizes translational research bridging environmental science, public health, and statistical innovation.
