Dominique Weis

Dominique Weis is a Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), holding the UBC Killam Professorship and Canada Research Chair Tier I in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences within the Faculty of Science. She specializes in geochemical studies of Earth systems, focusing on mantle plumes, environmental geochemistry, and volcanic processes. Her research integrates fieldwork, laboratory analyses, and computational modeling to address questions about mantle dynamics, crust-mantle interactions, and anthropogenic impacts.
