Dominik Paukszta

Dr. DSc, Eng. Dominik Paukszta is a Professor at the Poznań University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering. With over three decades of academic career, he has established himself as a leading expert in polymer science and materials engineering, particularly in the fields of polypropylene composites, polymer crystallization, and recycling technologies.

Professor Paukszta completed his Master of Science degree in Engineering in 1979, obtained his doctoral degree in 1990, and achieved the degree of habilitated doctor in 2015. His research interests center on the physicochemistry of polymers, composite materials, materials engineering, and recycling and plastics processing. Professor Paukszta's work particularly focuses on the crystallization behavior of isotactic polypropylene under various conditions, the development of composite materials using natural fillers including lignocellulosic materials and carbon-based additives, and innovative recycling technologies for polymer waste. His research bridges fundamental polymer science with practical industrial applications, addressing critical challenges in sustainable materials development.
