Dominik Gumpenberger is a Lecturer at the Department of Fine Arts & Design, Mozarteum University Salzburg. He teaches technical processes, scientific basics, materials laboratory studies, and plastics within the GTT course. His interdisciplinary expertise spans architecture, design, and technology, with a focus on fiber composite technology and product development in outdoor sectors like kiteboarding and surfing. He holds a Mag.art. in technical work from Mozarteum University and degrees in geography and economics from Paris Lodron University in Salzburg.

He returned to Mozarteum University in 2015 as a lecturer and serves as a Functional Assistant in project management.
