Dominik Collet is a Professor of Environmental and Climate History at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Oslo School of Environmental Humanities and the CLIMATE research group. His research integrates historical climatology, disaster studies, and global cultural history, focusing on climate-society entanglements during the Little Ice Age. He has held academic positions at Heidelberg and Göttingen Universities and visiting fellowships at prestigious institutions like the Max-Planck-Institute for History and the Warburg Institute. Currently, he leads the CAS group 'The Nordic Little Ice Age' and co-edits the open-access book Nordic Climate Histories.
