Dominic Yiu Cheong Leung

Professor Dominic Yiu Cheong Leung is a Senior Staff Specialist in Cardiology and Director of Cardiology at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney Southwest Area Health Service. Affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales, he is an internationally recognized expert in echocardiography and cardiac imaging.

• Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), European Society of Cardiology, American College of Cardiology, Hong Kong College of Physicians, and The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand

His research spans valvular heart disease, heart failure, diabetic heart disease, acute coronary syndrome, and interventional cardiology, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications and 6,300 citations. He supervises BSc (Hons), Masters, and PhD students while maintaining active clinical and educational roles.
