معرفی
Dominic Roy is an Assistant Professor-Researcher at the CHUM Research Center (CRCHUM) and Montreal Cancer Institute, affiliated with the Department of Microbiology, Infectious Diseases and Immunology at the University of Montreal. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry with a Specialization in Human and Molecular Genetics from the University of Ottawa and completed postdoctoral training at McGill University.
His research explores:
- Cancer biology and immunotherapy mechanisms
- Oncolytic virotherapy optimization
- Metabolic regulation in immune cells
- Immunometabolism in tumor microenvironments
- T lymphocyte function and differentiation
Recent publications (2013-2020) demonstrate consistent focus on immunometabolism and oncolytic viruses, with emerging themes in epigenetic regulation of immune responses and novel delivery systems for cancer biotherapies. Primary research domains include cancer immunology, molecular virology, and metabolic biochemistry.
Laboratory team members include: Angelina Bardoul, Jessica Meunier, Hannah Klemets, Melvina Badet, and Chloe Nassar.
