Dmytro S. Inosov

Prof. Dr. Dmytro S. Inosov serves as Associate Professor and leads the Chair of Neutron Spectroscopy of Condensed Matter at the Institute for Solid State Physics, Technical University of Dresden. His research group specializes in experimental investigations of magnetic excitations using neutron scattering techniques, with funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

His research focuses on magnetic properties of novel materials, particularly itinerant and insulating compounds with magnetic frustration, unconventional superconductors, helimagnets, heavy-fermion metals, and f-electron systems. His group employs various neutron techniques including diffraction, small-angle scattering, and spectroscopy at major international facilities in Europe and overseas.

Prof. Inosov's publication record exceeds 100 peer-reviewed articles in top journals including Nature, Nature Physics, and Physical Review Letters, with over 4000 citations. His 2021 edited volume Rare-Earth Borides represents a comprehensive collection of reviews by leading experts in the field.
