Dr. Dmitry Kishkinev is a Lecturer in Animal Behaviour and Behavioural Neuroscience at Keele University's School of Life Sciences. His research focuses on avian navigation, magnetoreception in animals, and biotelemetry. He has held prestigious fellowships, including the Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship (2017-2020) and the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship (2012-2014). Kishkinev’s work spans experimental studies on bird migration mechanisms, the role of magnetic fields in navigation, and interdisciplinary projects combining neuroscience, ecology, and technology.
