Key research areas include student internship programs as innovation drivers, entrepreneurship intention among university students, and the relationship between startups and established companies. Liebers employs both qualitative and quantitative methodologies in his work, often collaborating with regional institutions in Chemnitz, Freiberg, and Zwickau.
Liebers' publications reveal a consistent focus on practical applications of entrepreneurship theory within the university context. His recent work explores innovative training methods like crowdfunding platforms for entrepreneurial education and analyzes the career-related personality factors influencing students' entrepreneurial intentions. Since June 2023, he has expanded his professional activities to include freelance innovation and marketing consulting alongside his university role.
