Dip Kapoor is a Professor in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at the University of Alberta, Canada. His primary research focuses on colonial/racial capitalist development, globalization, and resistance in Indigenous, peasant, and migrant labor movements across Asia, Africa, and the Americas. He has held roles including tenure-track positions at McGill University and voluntary Research Associate at the Center for Research and Development Solidarity (CRDS) in India since 2006.
