Diogo M.F. Santos is an Invited Assistant Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and a Researcher at the Center for Physics and Engineering of Advanced Materials (CeFEMA), University of Lisbon. His primary focus is on electrodes and membranes for direct liquid fuel cells. He holds a Ph.D. in electrochemistry from IST (2009) and has authored over 170 journal papers with an h-index of 35 (SCOPUS). His research interests include electrochemical energy conversion, fuel cells, hydrogen production, and water electrolysis.
