Diogo Britto is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Milan-Bicocca and a UniCredit Foundation Marco Fanno Fellow. He serves as Director of the CLEAN Unit on the Economic Analysis of Crime at Bocconi University, and holds affiliations with institutions like CEPR, IZA, and UNU-Wider. His research focuses on applied economics, with interests in crime, labor markets, development, gender, political economy, and climate adaptation. He has been funded by entities such as the International Growth Centre and the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation.
